Bio

Nana  is a traveler, entrepreneur, and storyteller embracing the thrill of a second chance at life. A divorced mother of six daughters and a survivor of domestic violence, she has spent decades in service to others—raising children, managing businesses, volunteering, and making order out of chaos. Now, for the first time ever, she can finally turn her phone off, knowing that no school will call with an emergency, nobody needs a ride, the work is done. It’s time for Nana to heal.

With a background in restaurant ownership and management, social media strategy, content creation, and freelance writing, she brings a sharp, strategic mind to every project. She has volunteered extensively with organizations like Girl Scouts, Coder Dojo, 4H, and the Humane Society, always finding ways to use her organizational skills to build community and uplift others.Through NanaLibre, she documents the joy of reclaiming life on her own terms. She is reveling in the long-overdue freedom to focus on herself after a lifetime of unpaid labor that has upheld a family, businesses, and a home. As she travels, she prioritizes women-owned businesses, shares what she learns, and creates resources for others who are ready to step into their own freedom. Nana’s practicality, hyperfixation, and thorough documentation is inspiring and empowering to her readers, who are trying to make sense of complicated life transitions.
